Latest Projects.....

Hi everyone!  As promised, I am FINALLY uploading some pictures of several of my latest LO's....I'm still in this creative zone, (and LOVE IT)....wouldn't it be awesome to create all day long???    Oh well....I guess somethings gotta pay the bills.  :) here are some of my latest LO' we go....

aka 'Pudge'.
I was feeling bad that most of my dog LO's are of Moose, so I thought I would create one with Queen Flikka.  For those of you that know is definitely NOT my this was a stretch.  But I had fun with it.

'All that matters'
This was one of those LO's that was done 'lickety split'.  When it flows, it flows.  I really need to do more of the kids when they were little, there are just sooo many pictures to choose from.

One of my fav LO's to date.  I have always loved this picture of my dad when he was little.  I struggled a bit with the LO, since it is more simple than my usual, but fun none the less.

'Heart and Soul'
This was a color challenge and again pink was one of the colors.  Another stretch here, but I was able to take 'girly' colors and make it work for a boy LO.

'Life changes"
I don't remember where I saw this quote, but the minute that I did, I knew I had to scrap book a LO using it.
Journaling reads..  "Just when I think I have learned the way to live, life changes."

'Live Life"
I just finished this LO this past weekend.  I have been dying to so something in purple and am really pleased withe way it turned out.  I LOVE the flowers (purchased from a woman in Aussie on Etsy).  The paint was fun too.
Journaling reads. "2011 resolution, Just Live Life"

'Wide Open Spaces"
Another LO finished this weekend.  (it was a busy weekend).  I think I set a record with this one.  From idea to completion in about 2 hrs.  (super fast for me).  It was an easy layout due to the Hambly overlay.  I just punched several circles, stitched, and viola!

"Your love is relentless"
The last LO for this blog entry.  The 3rd completed LO this week.  I really like the contrast with the black, teal, white, and yellow.  I LOVE this picture of my son and our Great Dane.

That's all for now.  I think I will pull out my poem writing tools this week....feeling inspired.

On a more serious note, I will be posting pictures later this week of several new scrapbook layouts, etc.  So stick around.

~Moosie Monday (January 17, 2011)

Happy Day everyone!

I hope everyone had a terrific weekend and you are staying warm wherever you may be.

Moose had a slow week, but as always, seems to always be full of wisdom, reflection, and just pure silliness.  Here is a small sampling from this past week.

Moosie thought #22
"One tequila, two tequila, three tequila, floor"

Moosie Movie Monday
"White dogs can't jump"  (get it?? reference...."White men can't jump", oh well :)  )

Moosie quote #9
"I'll huff and I'll puff till I blow your house in"

That is all for now - Have a fantastic week and see you next week.  Same time, same bat channel.

~Moosie Monday~ (January 10, 2010)

Good evening everyone!  I can't believe it....another Monday.  The weeks fly by so quickly and before we know it, we'll be saying "Merry Christmas and Happy New Year" again.

Moose has been watching alot of TV lately, and thus is inspired to share some of his favorite quotes from his favorite movies.  He is challenging everyone to see if they can name the movie and actor from each famous quote.

There will be some guest star appearances by his faithful companion Flikka.  (I actually think she threatened him to be a part of Moosie Monday or else she was going to hide all of his favorite bones and to not share her part of the kennel)

Let's all play along! :)

Movie quote #1
"Run Moosie......Run"  (okay, he took liberty in changing th quote up a bit, but you still get the jest of the sentence.)

Movie quote #2
"I'm going to make him an offer he can't refuse" (even though this is a famous quote from a famous movie - it is very appropriate for Flikka as she used to be part of a Russian mob)

and last, but not least.....

Movie quote #3
"Toto, I've got a feeling we're not in Kansas anymore"  (the red shoes kinda fit him, don't ya think?)

Okay, so bring on your guesses to the movie and actor for each famous quote.  If you have any movie quote request for Moosie, let me know, and we'll see what we can do to have Moose re-enact the scene.

Have a FAB evening and take care,

Moosie Monday (Jan 1, 2011)

In lieu of the normal Moosie Monday thoughts....I thought I'd post some pictures of a layout I completed tonight of Moose.  I just love this little guy.  :)  I must admit, yellow, blue, black, and red are my FAV colors right now...I love scrapping in these colors.

Good night to everyone!
