Moosie Monday (March 28, 2011)

Good day to everyone!!

I am sure you have been wondering where Moose has been these past two weeks.  He has been MIA for Moosie Mondays, so he wanted me to share some pictures of what he's been up to.

For those of you that don't know, Moose LOVES music.  He listens to all types of music, from new POP, to old classics.  He is quite connected in the music business, so he had the opportunity to perform with some of the biggest names.

Here he is with on stage with Garth Brooks.....

The following week, he performed with Justin Bieber.

He finished his tour with his all time favorite - Ray Charles.

He will be back next week with more of his statistics, thoughts, and life ponderings.

Tata for now.

a share of layouts highlighting an adorable little girl....

Hi everyone!  I got my hands on some adorable pictures of a friends little girl.   So what was I to do?  Well, scrap them of course.  :)

Here they are!!  I have lots more pictures to inspire me, so expect to see some more layouts of this precious little one.

"Best Friends"
I LOVE this picture...nothing like babies and dogs.  Precious.

"Thats how I roll"
I fell in love with these pictures from the minute I saw them.  I LOVE little kids with food all over their faces.
Wait...who snuck these ones in here?  She is adorable too, huh?  My lil' Miss Fee.

Thats' all for now!!

Happy Friday!!!

Hellooooo everyone!!   As promised, here is some more exciting news!!

Check this out.....recognize the face??  (my oldest DS).
If you are into scrapbooking, you really need to bookmark this site.  Awesome daily deals.

I recieved another piece of totally awesome news yesterday (that was not expected).  I will be designing for this super duper awesome kit club.  My designs will start with the kit next month, so be on the look out for familiar faces.

That's all for now.  Hope you have a SUPER FANTASTIC FRIDAY AND WONDERFUL WEEKEND!

A little of this, and little of that....

Hi everyone!  I hope everyone is doing well.
Work has been keeping me busy this week and I haven't had much time to scrap.  :(  {super sad face}, so I thought I would share a couple of LOs I completed last weekend.

I felt bad that I didn't post a Moosie Monday this past Monday, so I did a quick LO with Moosie's thought from last week.  Silly Moosie.  :)

~Remembering You~
This layout is very special to me.  This is a circa 1962 picture of my mom.  I've been wanting to do something special with these photos for quite sometime.
I started with a piece of sticky back canvas and glued down chipboard letters.  I layered the entire page with lots of yummy modeling paste.  After it dried, I covered everything with gesso.
The next step is my favorite - mist, mist, and more mist.  {I can't get enough of tattered angels mist}.  After the photos, paper, ribbon, etc were adhered, I covered the letters with TA glaze.  {more amazing stuff|}...
Then viola!!!

This next layout was more simplier than my usual.  I LOVED the colors, and of course the photo.  :)

The final layout was a quick one.  Titled "Mother Nature"

That's all for now.  I hope everyone has an awesome night.

~Moosie Monday~ (March 7, 2011) and some other stuff :)

Hi everyone!!

This week's Moosie Monday will be short and sweet.

As y'all know, Moosie thinks very highly of himself.  When I snapped this picture, the following immediately came to mind.  It sounds like something he would definately say!  (what can I say??  he is kinda cute)

"What??  I can't help it.  I was born with these good looks."

Also, I had a very productive, scrappy weekend.  Here are a couple of layouts.  Simplier than my usual, but really like 'em.

"100% sunshine"

"I love you"

That's all for tonight.  I hope your week is fabulous!

late night posting....

Good Late Night to everyone!....I just finished a layout and am still WIDE AWAKE, so I thought I would post a few words and share a couple of  my latest projects.

The postman was sooo nice to me today.  Two nice packages arrived.  The first one was a box of 200 Biscoff cookies.  Everytime I fly Delta, they hand out these deeliiisssshhhhiiishhh, delictable, delights.  I know, you are thinking, what is she going to do with 200 cookies.  Eat them, of course.  But as I am typing this post, I also am reminded that I bought 3 boxes of Girl Scout cookies.  Sheesh....guess I better be hiting the bike trails soon.

For those that don't know what these Biscoff cookies look like, here is a picture of these yummy treats.
You can purchase them at:

My second package was a bunch of new 'Crafters Warehouse' screens.  I LOVE these and have seen them all over the internet.  I will definately be playing with these in the coming weeks and I'll be sure to share what my mind can create with them.

As promised, here are my recent layouts.  As always, I would LOVE to hear your comments.

'Hello Sunshine"
My niece will be graduating this spring and I found this old picture in my stash and thought it was crying out to be scrapped.  Most of the layout is from the new MME "Good Day Sunshine' Collection.  You should check it out.  The papers and die-cuts are so cute.

I have been wanting to do the next layout for awhile now.  I have been collecting photos of little tidbits of my personality and saving them for "10 totally random facts about me'.  (Crate Paper Season Collection)

The final layout is the one I just completed this evening.   Once again, Moose is the star attraction.  He just LOVES to have his picture taken (thank goodness), and this close-up was screaming, LAYOUT!!

That's all for now.  I hope you enjoyed.

A few new projects.....

Thought I would take a few minutes and share some pictures of some recent layouts.  I hope you enjoy.  I would LOVE to hear your comments!!!!

"No Girls allowed"

I love these colors and the picture.  I really need to go back and pull out more old pictures of the boys and scrap them.

"What will tomorrow bring?"
I just can't get enough misting and doilies....I would LOVE to use them in all of my layouts, but that is too much, right?  I love these Tim Holtz stamps...great quotes.

That's it for now.

~Moosie Monday~ on Tuesday :)

Moosie says sorry for the delay, but here is his life pondering for today.

"What do sandpaper and I have in common?"

We both are rough (woof)...hahahaha....okay, so you get the joke.  (Somedays he just isn't that funny)

Have a great evening!
