Sneaky sneaky.....

Happy Thursday everyone!

So...I have to confess something (just a little chatting between us girls)  :)

....every month when I get the new LBD kit, I am INSTANTLY in love with the papers, embellies, vintage finds, ribbon, alphas, etc., etc., etc.
But.....when I opened my July kit, I was a little nervous.(okay, a LOT nervous)

For those that know me well, know that I am not a girly girl (I'm a tom-boy at heart).  I have two 'grown' boys, so pink ANYTHING is usually not on my list of crafty supplies.

So back to my story....
when I opened my kit, it had some of the most beautiful PINK paper, ribbon, embellies, buttons and vintage finds.  ( there was also some amazing blue paper, but I was blinded by the pink)  LOL

I thought to myself....'self, what shall I do with so much pink?'
so I answered, 'self, find some amazing girly inspiration'.

Thank goodness I work with some totally awesome people who have some of the most adorable little girls AND my sister has some equally amazing young women for children.  (no...all the children in the layouts are NOT mine - I only 'claim' the two boys...all the girls in my layouts are wonderful inspirations to help in my creative Mojo).

So once I knew I could 'use' photos of these amazing and beautiful little girls and young women in my layouts, I was put at ease.

Here are some sneaky peeks at the July kit.  I hope you love it as much as I do.

Put the Soup on.....

Happy Wednesday everyone!

Everyone run to the kitchen and grab a spoon, cuz the soup is on!!!!!

(yes, I have lost my mind :)  work has me a little stressed out and I'm feeling a little loopy at the moment)

Starting in July, I will part of the Creative Team for an awesome and relatively new, inspiration and weekly challenge forum, called 'The Creative Soup'.

They share great challenges and provide a ton of if you ever get stuck and your crafty Mojo has disappeared, stop on by and see what challenges and inspiration are being shared.

I'd love to see some familiar faces on the board (yes, that means you).  Come on by and show this group some of your amazingly terrific crafty creations!

Click here for a link to the Kitchen!

See you soon!  Have a fantabulous (is that a word?) day!

Little Black Dress 'Refer a Friend' event....

Happy Tuesday...

Little Black Dress kit club is having a 'refer a friend' event.  Details are as follows:

REFER A FRIEND GIVEAWAY! That's right. I'm yelling right now. I'm just that excited. From now until July 15th any member that refers a friend who then joins up and notes in their order that they were referred by "Ms. Sally Jo" will get a free kit. And that's not all..."Best Friend" who was referred? They get a free kit too for being so nice as to take the time to note that they were, in fact, REFERRED!

This is the time to sign up for these awesome kits!!

Cosmo Cricket Scrapbook Trends Challenge ~Puddle Jumpin~

Happy Saturday everyone!
Cosmo Cricket has a challenge on their blog based on this sketch.

Here's the fun part.  Scrapbook Trends will pick one entry to be featured in an upcoming magazine.  How cool would that be??

Here's my take on the sketch and challenge.  Wish me luck!  :)

7 Gypsies Printers Tray and one ADORABLE little girl :)

Happy Friday!  It is a gorgeous day here in sunny Utah and I can't wait to enjoy the weekend and get some crafting in.

Here is a final project that I worked on for The Little Black Dress Kit Club, using their June kit.

I have being wanting to do another Printer's Tray for some time, and the June kit was great inspiration for the project.  These Printer's Trays are a great way to use up the left over bits and pieces of your monthly kits and projects and are a stylish way to display your photos.  (thank you to Shannon for letting me use these adorable pictures of her daughter!)

As always, your comments are always welcome.

Have a terrific and wonderful day!

More She Art creations...totally addicted. :)

Happy Wednesday everyone!

During this past weekend, my sister and I created some more She Art girls.  I just LOVE these girls and can't get enough of them.

Here are the 2 new ones I created this past weekend.

As always, I love to read your comments.  Have a great day!
