CSI Case File #9 'You are my Hero' and GIVEAWAY WINNER!

Happy Saturday!

First of all - WOW!  The response to my Makeover Giveaway was INCREDIBLE!  I can't believe the interest.  Thank you for all of the amazing and kind comments that were left and welcome to all my new followers!

But let's get to the winner, shall we??  :)

{drum roll please}.............

Using a random number generator, the winning comment was number 37

And number 37 was made by PHOTOCHIC!!

Congratulations  PHOTOCHIC!!  Please email me at with your shipping details.  I will get this out to you as quickly as possible.  Please post pictures of your prize when you receive it.  I would love to see it.

Now on to another CSI Case File.

For those who are new to "CSI - Colors, Stories, and Inspiration", every week, Debbi shares a Case File challenge.  The challenge consists of a scene (color palette), evidence, and testimony (journaling).  I LOVE this concept as it really stretches my creativity and allows me to try new techniques, styles, and journaling prompts.

Here is the amazing challenge this week.  (Isn't the color palette simply divine?)

And my layout.

My Evidence includes:
1.  Text pattern (piece of dictionary paper)
2.  Striped pattern (piece of blue striped paper)
3.  Dictionary page (piece of dictionary paper)
4.  Bird accent
5.  Mesh (punched blue paper)
6.  Use something translucent (embossed background paper, misted to show the embossed pattern)

My Testimony includes:
1.  Use a line or phrase from the song Wind Beneath my wings.  (that is where my title and journaling came from)
Hidden journaling reads:  "You are my hero, Did I ever tell you that you're my hero?, You have given my strength to go on, You have given my hope when I had none, You have given my wings so I can fly, You are my hero."

And some close-ups.

You should really check out what the DT created this week.  UNBELIEVABLE!

Thanks for stopping by!  Have a wonderful weekend.

Love your LO! I really like the row of photos and the colours you used.
What a fun concept. It would make a great crop theme too! Hmmm....need to do some thinking on that one!
