I have finally had a break from DT projects (and some surprises coming this next month) that I had sometime to play along with the Pretty Little Challenges this week. I have missed a couple of weeks and felt good to get out my PLS goodies and play along.
My first project is for their sketch challenge. Keri Babbitt creates the BEST sketches and I really enjoy using them for inspiration.
Here is the fantastic sketch...
Instead of a layout, I made a card.
Using a Crafter's Workshop diamond stencil, I misted part of large tag. This created a great looking background for my card. I layered the tag over a piece of BG patterned paper and a scrap of PLS paper.
For the diamonds, I cut several from a piece of diamond PLS patterned paper and stitched them in place. I added one of those fun little PLS clowns, some twine, and the title. That's it...pretty quick and easy.
For the Inspiration Challenge, I used this photo as inspiration. (Source Design Seeds).
I used the new PLS Monsieur collection for my layout. It was a perfect match for this challenge.
That's all for today. Now back to DT projects. :) Have a great (rest of the) weekend! Thank you for taking the time to stop by and spend some time with me.
