A few months ago, I shared a video of what my Scrappy Room looked like. Also, I did a MAJOR De-Stash and have a HUGE Giveaway.
I have finally finished my makeover, and my scrappy room is complete with a fresh coat of paint and new storage. It feels so good to be organized and to have a place for all of my supplies.
I made a short video of my new room...I would love to hear what you think.
To share in the excitement and celebration of my Scrappy Makeover, I thought I'd go through my stash and de-stash again! :)
I would like to share my de-stash supplies with you, so let's give it away, shall we??
Here's a little peek of some of the de-stash goodies.
Some product has been slightly used, and some items may be missing (from the above photos - as I used some for a craft class at work).
Here are the details...
1. If you are a follower, leave a comment below telling me what your favorite season is and why.
2. If you are not a follower, become one, and leave a comment below telling me what your favorite color is and why.
3. Earn more chances to win by sharing on Facebook or your blog and leave a comment here saying you have done so.
Comments will be accepted until Friday, October 26th at midnight.
Open to all my International friends, but because of the huge amount of giveaway goodies, (and the expense of shipping Internationally), International followers will need to share in 1/2 of the shipping expense.
I will leave you with a short crafty share. This past Friday, I was up on the MME blog with a Pinspiration Friday layout.
Every month, the DT is challenged to lift a project that is pinned to this board on the MME Pinterest page.
I lifted this layout by the very talented and uber creative Anabelle O'Malley.
Here is how I found inspiration from her layout.
I love the linear (across the page) design of this layout, and how she used circles to create little areas of color and visual POP.
I wanted to use the same linear design, but 'change it up a bit', SO, I swapped circles for squares. I stitched the squares down, layering several patterned papers within each other.
I also expanded the washi tape area on the bottom of Anabelle's layout, adding several chipboard elements and punched medallion shapes.
Supplies: All is Bright:Christmas Tag patterned paper, Joy patterned paper,Happy Day patterned paper, twine, layered stickers, decorative buttons, chipboard elements;Six by Six Two:A Mother's Love paper pad;Misc:Pink Paislee wood alphabet, adhesive, sewing machine and thread, ink,K&Co stamp
So I would like to see how observant y'all are. Can you pick out the new Christmas collection 'All Is Bright' in my layout? By hiding any Christmas/Holiday reference and by mixing it with the Six by Six paper, it blends perfectly and you can really stretch your Holiday paper collection into non-Holiday projects.
I hope you enjoyed my layout. Make sure and post your MME projects on the FB page....maybe your project will show up on the MME Inspiring Layouts and Cards board. :)
Thanks for stopping by! Have a great day and good luck with the giveaway!
