Christmas is inching ever so close and last minute preparations are being done.
Yesterday, was the 51st (Yes, 51 reveals) reveal over at CSI. This weeks colors and prompts were amazing and full of texture, shine, and lace!
Even though the evidence was full of holiday spirit, my inspiration for my entire layout came from my journaling prompt - Use a Six Word Memoir. I created the title to my layout based on this prompt and went from there.
My evidence includes:
1. Use circular objects
2. Use snowflakes
3. Use glitter
4. Use rhinestones or pearls
5. Use metal
6. Use something filagree, or lacey
My journaling (which is on the back of my page) are my thoughts on love.
Why must love hurt so much?
Such a simple question, but the answer is so elusive. In the early stages of love, you feel as if
you are walking on air. The world is
full of smiles, happiness, and hope.
When you experience new love, you are unstoppable and feel as if you can
conquer the world.
As love grows, a sense of contentment and blessing fills
every inch of your soul. Your love feels
endless and that it will last forever.
Occasionally, love wanes and fades. Your heart, once full of happiness and joy,
begins to fill with pain and sorrow. As
you experience the loss of love, you begin to question your sense of self and
face an uncertain future. Days seem to
last forever and the nights never end.
As days pass, the feeling of loss, hurt, and sadness begin
to subside. The days become brighter and
the nights become restful. As the
feeling of lost love becomes a memory, you focus on the future and what lies ahead. You become hopeful that love will find you
and that you will experience that feeling of exhilaration once again.
The circle of love has continued throughout all time and is
always certain. But it still doesn’t
answer the question of ‘Why does love hurt so much?’.Please be sure and stop by the CSI blog and check out the full DT reveal!
As always, thank you for stopping by! Have a wonderful weekend!
