Hello and Happy Tuesday! Today, I am kicking off my April Design Team projects for Frog Dog Studio!

This entire month, we are teaming up with the Amazing Crafting Products team to bring 30 days of project inspiration.
To kick us off, I will be sharing how I created this Art Doll, from Paper Whimsy, using Alumidust powder and Metallic powder to color my project.
prep my surface, I cover each chipboard piece with Spray Gesso and let
dry. Spray Gesso is super quick, and super easy for covering these

SPECIAL NOTE: The metallic powder is VERY powder-y. Be prepared to have metallic flakes everywhere in your work area. :)
To 'set' the powder, I spritzed it with Hairspray and let it dry.
'color' each cooresponding piece, I applied Staz On ink first, then
using a stipple brush, I dabbed Alumidust and Metallic powder to each
piece. I 'set' it with water and let the color pool in areas. For a
final set, I sprayed each piece with hairspray. Continue this with each
piece till complete.
more glitz and shine, I mixed up my own Gold Shimmer spray, by mixing a
couple of dropper fulls of the iZink pigment ink to a Mini Mister and
Spray each piece.
create my 'stained glass' window for my house, I applied the Gold iZink
to a Tim Holtz Fragment piece and adhered it to the back of the

how the Alumidust looks on chipboard. It really creates a great shimmer
and sparkle to my project.
