Nathalie Kalbach and Friends Summer Hop!

Hi...

Happy Friday!

Who's ready for some stamping inspiration?  Sit down, grab a cup of your favorite beverage, and come hop with us!

Today, I am featuring Nat Kalbach's new stamps, released by Stampendous. I've been a long time fan of anything Nat and Stampendous, so this was a fun and stress free type of creative time.

I created two projects, using one new stamp set, 'Cling Fashion Dame Rubber Stamp Set'.  I love the retro look of this stamp, just perfect for my vintage style.

My first project is a trio of ATC cards.  (I can't get enough of ATC cards lately)

 Step One
Using your favorite mold putty, create a mold with stamp.

Step Two
Create 3 resin casts with mold.

Step Three
Paint and embellish casts as desired.

Step Four
Create texture with medium of choice, on ATC background using the stencil included in stamp set.

Step Five
Paint, spray, ink background.

  Step Six
Mark a sewing grid on back of ATC card.  This will be used as a guide for stitching.  Hand stitch background.

Step Seven
Adhere resin casts to ATC base.  Add additional embellishments and/or sentiments as desired.

My second project uses stamps in a more traditonal way, Art Journaling.

To create the background, adhere a vintage sheet of paper to heavy cardstock.  Apply a very thin layer of gesso.  Dry.

Stamp emboss image to page.  Add watercolors around stamped image.  Stencil around embossed image.  Add doodles, journaling and more stenciling.
