StencilGirl + PaperArtsy = Fabulous!

Hi...

Welcome to the StencilGirl and PaperArtsy Blog Hop!

StencilGirl stencils and PaperArtsy Fresco Paints and Stamps are a match made in heaven and I couldn't wait to create.  My project share today uses a Tim Holtz Folio, which I have had forever!  Time to get it out and create!

I collaged vintage papers to the entire of surface of the folio to get me started.  It's a great way to add instant texture to any background.

I aged the folio with sanding, ripping, and a bit of gesso.  For the cover, I adhered a vintage photo holder to the front, that will be embellished with stencils and paint.

Before stenciling, I added several colors of PaperArtsy Fresco Acrylic Paints to the background, mixing and blending as I went.

After the background was covered, I added stenciling to the pages, using several StencilGirl Stencils.

Stencils Used
Spring Flower Vase
Blooming Where Planted
Deconstructed Chrysanthemum Mask/Stencil
Hawk of the Mountain

Using the Fresco paints, I painted several areas of the stencils as highlights and features in my Folio.

For more fun and interest, I added stamps with embossing to the background and as sentiments.

PaperArtsy Stamps Used
Ecletica 3

I also stamp embossed a couple of StencilGirl Guts for additional interest.

Here's a peek at the entire Folio and how fabulously the stencils and stamps flow together.

I hope my project inspired you ready to pull out your StencilGirl stencils and get your hands on some PaperArtsy Fresco Paints and Stamps!  Happy Creating!
